![]() It's really a toss-up and either is perfectly fine, with the better one technically being whatever a friend or relative has re: multiplayer and/or game-lending. ![]() I concur that buying discs is a bit of a hazard compared to digital games, and at least in Canada, the sales are generally just better for digital content. It might be worth it to check individual games that you're interested in on that site, but in my experience, when a game on one platform goes on sale, it'll be on sale on the other one within a month or two. , despite the name, is for any console to track digital sales. On overall value, Series X is the only answer and it isn't even close. I just uninstall and go "Oh no! Anyway." and find something else to play. It's just made me enjoy video games so much more than I used to because if I buy a game I dont end up liking, I dont feel like I wasted money on a bad game anymore. But here I am, night after night saying things like "Hey this Deep Rock Galactic thing looks fun, let's try that tonight" or "I don't like boat or ocean games but screw it, i hear good things about Subnautica" it's like I was suddenly given like 200 games and half of them area really really good so I find myself playing all kinds of stuff I normally wouldn't have because they aren't games I would have bought in a million years. In fact as I look over at it, i kinda need to dust it. ![]() ![]() I guess I would say, since 98% of both consoles main games are cross platform anyway. Game pass really screws up one's ability to really sort that question out doesn't it? Especially given Gamepass subscribers get their own exclusive discount on a selection of games that rotates every week. ![]()
